FUNDING

We support access to Speech Pathology and Dietetics services through a range of funding options, including NDIS, Support at Home, Medicare, Department of Veteran's Affairs (DVA), Disability Support for Older Australians (DSOA), and other programs.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for people under the age of 65 years old living with significant and permanent disability.
Mealtime Matters provides Speech Therapy and Dietitian services to both self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.
Our fees are charged in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits guide (2025-2026).

Support at Home (previously Home Care Package)

The Support at Home program (formerly the Home Care Package program) supports eligible Australians aged 65 years and over to access allied health services, including Speech Pathology and Dietetics, to help maintain independence and wellbeing at home.
Please contact us for further information regarding our fee schedule.

Department of Veteran's Affairs (DVA)

We welcome DVA cardholders and provide Speech Pathology and Dietetics services to eligible veterans.
DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral or with prior approval.

Medicare- Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM)

Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plans, also known as Enhanced Primary Care Plans, are arranged through your GP and may provide Medicare rebates for allied health services, including Speech Pathology and Dietetics.
If you have a chronic condition (lasting or expected to last six months or more), you may be eligible for up to five rebated allied health sessions per calendar year.
As of 2026, clients accessing Speech Pathology or Dietetics under a CDM plan can receive a Medicare rebate of $61.80 per session, for up to five sessions each year.
Please note: A gap fee may apply, which is the difference between the full session fee and the Medicare rebate.

Disability Support for Older Australians (DSOA)

The Disability Support for Older Australians (DSOA) program assists eligible individuals to access allied health services, including Speech Pathology and Dietetics, when NDIS or other aged care funding is not available.
DSOA fees are charged in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits guide (2025-2026).
