Speech Therapy for Dementia might look like:

  • Supporting memory in everyday functional tasks, such as remembering your wallet when you leave the house
  • Supporting word finding in conversation
  • Supporting safe mealtimes through carer education and managing swallowing difficulty
  • Working from a communication perspective to minimise behaviours of concern
  • Increasing meaningful engagement and reducing the risk of social isolation

We support people with Dementia at home, where they feel safe and most comfortable.
